Privacy Policy

What you give us through this site, what we do with it, and how you get it back or have it deleted.

Who we are

The data controller is Somatos Techni, 21 Pavlou Mela St, Thessaloniki 546 22, Greece.

Full company details (registered name, VAT number, company registry number) are provided on request, at the contact details below.

What we collect and why

Contact form. Your name, email, phone (optional), your message and which class you are interested in. We use them only to reply to you.

Newsletter. Your email address, so we can send you news about our classes and wellness trips — along with the date you signed up, the page you signed up from and its language.

Technical data. With every form submission we briefly keep your IP address in hashed form, so we can block automated spam. It is never stored in readable form and is deleted within an hour.

We collect nothing else. We run no analytics, we do no profiling, and we never sell or rent your details to anyone.

Our legal basis

• Contact form: your request that we get in touch (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• Newsletter: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), given in two steps: you submit the form, then you click the confirmation link we email you. Until you click it we send you nothing, and the pending signup lapses after seven days.

You can withdraw your consent whenever you like, without having to explain anything — see below.

Who else sees it

Two services make these things work:

• Telegram (Telegram FZ-LLC) — where the notification arrives when you message us through the contact form, so we see it straight away.
• Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited) — the newsletter list is kept in a Google Sheets spreadsheet in our account.

The site is also hosted by a hosting provider, which technically processes the data on our behalf. Beyond those, nobody.

How long we keep it

• Contact messages: up to 2 years after we last spoke.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only the record that you unsubscribed, so we do not email you again by mistake.
• Anti-spam technical data: one hour.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies of its own. It stores only your own choices — the consent you give below, and your accessibility settings — locally in your browser; they are sent nowhere.

We ask you the first time you visit. Until you answer "Accept", no third-party cookie loads and nothing about you goes to anyone else. You can change your mind at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.

Marketing (Meta pixel): if you accept, the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel loads. It sets Meta's own cookies and lets them measure whether one of our ads led to a visit or to a form submission. Meta processes that data under its own terms; see Meta's privacy policy. If you decline, the pixel does not load at all.

Analytics: the category exists in the settings for future use. No analytics tool is running at the moment.

Google map: the home page embeds a map, but it does not load on its own: in its place you get a “Load map” button, and nothing reaches Google until you press it.

If you do, the map loads from Google's servers and Google may set its own cookies, under its own terms. See Google's privacy policy.

So that you are not asked again on every visit, your choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage, key “somMapConsent”). It is sent nowhere and disappears as soon as you clear your browser data.

Your rights

You can ask at any time for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you can object to the processing.

Unsubscribing: every newsletter we send carries an unsubscribe link at the bottom — one click and you are out, with no explanation needed. If you cannot find it, email us at somatostexni@gmail.com with "Unsubscribe" as the subject and we will do it for you.

For anything else, write to the same address and we reply within one month.

If you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
