Post-natal Fitness in Thessaloniki
We start with a deep breath… and reconnect with our body.
With gentle, safe movements we activate the pelvic floor, without pressure, without stress and without comparison to “before.”
Returning to shape after pregnancy happens gradually and safely, with respect for each woman's needs. Through the right guidance we work on restoring the core and pelvic floor, improving posture and bringing back your energy.
Our goal is to help you rediscover your strength, your confidence and your trust in your body. Every body has its own pace — your return deserves care, patience and the right support.
How the programme progresses
After pregnancy the body needs targeted, gentle recharging — which is why we never start from “strength.” The post-natal programme begins with restoring the abdominals (and rectus diastasis — diastasis recti, if present) and the pelvic floor. Once those foundations are solid, we move gradually to more intense strengthening — always in steps decided together with you, not a fixed programme “the same for everyone.”
What you'll feel along the way
- Core restoration — reactivating the abdominals & addressing rectus diastasis.
- Pelvic floor — strength and control after birth.
- Posture — relief from the pain caused by holding and breastfeeding the baby.
- Energy & mood — a gradual return to fitness and wellbeing, step by step.
When we start
We always start with medical clearance — the timing differs for a vaginal birth or a caesarean. At the first meeting we talk about how you experienced the birth, any pain or difficulties you have, and build the programme around them — in small groups or one-to-one, with a gentle progression.
In our studios
In our studios (Pavlou Mela 18 & 21), with hours that adapt to the first weeks with your baby.
Frequently asked questions
When can I start post-natal exercise?
After your doctor's approval. Typically around 6 weeks for a vaginal birth and later for a caesarean, but the timing is individual.
What is post-natal fitness?
A targeted rehabilitation programme after birth: core, pelvic floor and posture, with a gradual return to strength.
What is the first class like?
Breathing, activation of the pelvic floor and abdominals. We build up your body and confidence gradually.
Does it help with rectus diastasis (diastasis recti)?
Yes, with correct abdominal reactivation exercises under guidance — avoiding movements that make it worse.
Can I exercise if I'm breastfeeding?
Of course. We adjust whatever is needed, together with good hydration before and after training.
